A common issue on the Audi A1 8X and Q3 8U is the MMI control knob breaking away from the unit and snapping the wiring on the rotary switch resulting in the vehicle requiring a new infotainment system costing ££££ with no repairers out there.
We have developed our own repair bracket made in house to rectify this issue, this can be fitted as just the bracket as a precautionary measure before the original breaks off and damages the rotary switch or fitted as a repair with a new rotary switch once your unit has failed
Our new bracket is made to be fitted using the original mounting holes and screws, no cutting or drilling required (only need to push out the original mount if you are using this as a precautionary measure) our bracket just slots inside the original casing and secured neatly so no one will know it's even been done.

When sending your unit into us please ensure it is correctly packaged so it does not get damaged in transit, we then recommend sending using Royal Mail Special Delivery
