AWTuning Ceramic AMS Savers
Designed and manufactured by AWTuning, our Ceramic AMS Savers are engineered to solve one of the most common long-term wear issues found on both the Bambu Lab AMS and the Bambu Lab AMS 2 systems.
Over time, constant filament movement gradually wears away the original filament intake funnels. Whilst this doesn't happen overnight, regular printing and frequent filament changes will eventually take their toll, particularly in high-use environments such as print farms.
Many existing solutions use short sections of PTFE tube as a sacrificial wear surface. Whilst effective initially, PTFE is a relatively soft material and will eventually wear through. Our solution replaces this with a precision ceramic guide, providing dramatically improved wear resistance and a significantly longer service life.

Why Ceramic?
Ceramic provides exceptional wear resistance whilst maintaining a smooth filament path. Unlike PTFE inserts that are designed to wear away over time, ceramic is capable of lasting for thousands of printing hours before showing significant wear.
Simple Installation
Simply select whether you have a Bambu Lab AMS or Bambu Lab AMS 2 before ordering. Each version has been specifically designed for its respective system.
Installation takes seconds. Simply clip the Ceramic AMS Saver over the existing filament funnel and you're ready to print. No cutting, drilling or permanent modifications are required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will these fit both the AMS and AMS 2?
Yes. Simply choose the correct version when ordering. Each version has been specifically designed to fit either the original AMS or the newer AMS 2.
Do I need to modify my AMS?
No. Installation is completely reversible and requires no drilling, cutting or permanent modifications.
Why use ceramic instead of PTFE?
PTFE is an excellent low-friction material but is relatively soft and designed to wear over time. Ceramic provides dramatically greater wear resistance whilst maintaining a smooth filament path, making it ideal for long-term use.
How many Ceramic AMS Savers are included?
Each kit contains four Ceramic AMS Savers with integrated ceramic guides, enough to equip one complete AMS or AMS 2 unit.
