ECS Tuning Intake Manifold Lever Arm Fix Kit - 2.0TSI (EA888 Gen1)

Important Compatibility Note:
This kit is not compatible with intake manifolds ending in "BH", which use the revised linkage arm design.

The Problem

The internal intake manifold linkage can wear around the drive hex, allowing the external vacuum operated lever arm to work its way out of the manifold.

Once this happens the tumble flap mechanism becomes disconnected and, under boost pressure, the lever arm can be forced completely out of the manifold creating a significant air leak.

Although simply pushing the arm back into place temporarily restores operation, it will usually pop back out again once the engine is under load.

The Solution

This billet aluminium repair cap securely clamps the original lever arm back into the intake manifold, maintaining correct engagement with the internal linkage whilst preventing the arm from becoming disconnected again.

Instead of replacing the complete intake manifold, this repair offers a far more cost effective solution whilst restoring reliable operation of the runner flap mechanism.

Thin Shim (0.060")
For later production manifolds with the raised hump.

Thick Shim (0.250")
For earlier production manifolds without the raised hump.
OE Part Numbers: 06J133201G and 06J133201AS
