GPS Fakra Navigation Antenna
Replacement GPS antenna designed for Volkswagen Group factory navigation systems and aftermarket Android head units fitted with a blue Fakra GPS connection. Ideal for replacing damaged antennas or when retrofitting a navigation system where no original GPS antenna is present.
We originally sourced these antennas for use with our MIB radio installations after testing numerous alternatives. They provide reliable GPS reception, are simple to install and have proven to work exceptionally well with the navigation systems we supply.

Installation Advice
For best GPS performance, mount the antenna underneath the dashboard or beneath the top of the dashboard with the antenna facing upwards. Avoid mounting directly beneath heavy metal structures where possible.
Compatibility
Please ensure your navigation unit uses a blue Fakra GPS connector before ordering. If you're unsure, send us a photo of the rear of your unit and we'll happily confirm compatibility.

Will this work with my Android head unit?
If your Android head unit uses a blue Fakra GPS connector then yes. If you're unsure, simply send us a photo of the rear of your unit before ordering.
Does this improve GPS reception?
If your original antenna is faulty or missing then yes. Correct positioning of the antenna is also important for achieving the best possible satellite reception.
Where should I mount the antenna?
Most installations mount the antenna underneath the dashboard near the windscreen. As the antenna is magnetic, it can also be secured to a metal support frame beneath the dashboard if suitable.
Will this fit my factory navigation unit?
This antenna is suitable for many VW Group navigation systems including RNS510, RNS315, RNS-E and other units using a blue Fakra GPS connector. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering.
