A genuine Skoda MIB2 infotainment head unit, professionally refurbished and tested by AWTuning, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice control activated, a new touchscreen digitiser fitted and component protection removed.
This PQ platform crossover MIB2 unit is an excellent upgrade for compatible older Volkswagen Group vehicles, bringing modern smartphone connectivity to the factory infotainment system without requiring a full MQB conversion.
Originally a Skoda unit with green button illumination, it can also be supplied with compatible Volkswagen software. The physical button illumination remains green regardless of the software selected.

Touchscreen faults are a known issue with these systems, including areas of the screen becoming unresponsive or registering incorrect inputs. Replacing the digitiser during refurbishment helps address this common problem before the unit is supplied.

Important: Green Button Illumination
This is originally a Skoda MIB2 unit and has green physical button illumination. Selecting Volkswagen software changes the software interface and branding but does not change the colour of the physical button illumination. The buttons will remain green with either software version.

Non-navigation, non-DAB version
This is the single SD card, non-navigation version of the MIB2 system. It does not have built-in satellite navigation or a DAB radio tuner.
Navigation is still available through compatible smartphone apps such as Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze when using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto with a connected phone.
Retrofit information
This is a PQ platform crossover MIB2 unit intended for use in compatible older Volkswagen Group vehicles. It provides an upgrade path to MIB2 infotainment features without requiring a complete MQB infotainment conversion.
Depending on the vehicle and original radio fitted, additional components or coding may be required. Please check compatibility before purchasing.
